Title I, Part A

Title I, Part A is provided to States from Federal funds to:

  • schools with a high percentage of students from low-income families

  • help ensure that all children meet challenging State academic achievement standards

  • provide resources in addition to those from the state and local district 

  • ecourages families to be engaged in their child’s education

Title I funding helps provide the following services:

  • Tutoring for individual as well as groups of students

  • Professional development for teachers

  • High-quality instructional materials

  • Family engagement opportunities

Homeless Support

Title I Districts set aside an amount of funding to assist students and families experiencing homelessness.  If you are impacted by homelessness, please contact the principal at your child's school or the Yadkin County Schools Central Office @ 336-551-1100.
