NC PRE-K: The child must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2025. All sources of family income cannot exceed 75% of the NC state median income. 

Title I: The child must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2025. Children are rank ordered by a developmental assessment screening score and the child with the greatest demonstrated educational need is offered placement initially until all slots are filled.

Smart Start Scholarships - The child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before August 31, 2025. All sources of family income cannot exceed 75% of the NC state median income. 

Other: If a family exceeds the income limits other risk factors may be considered for eligibility including, but not limited to developmental need as indicated by developmental screening, homelessness as defined by the McKinney-Vento Act, separation from parents due to incarceration, and foster care placement.  

Parent Pay:  There are classroom slots available for 3 and 4 year old children whose parents’ income exceeds 75% of the NC state median income. We offer 2-day slots, 3-day slots and 5-day slots. Preschool tuition and registration fees are paid via Procare (online parent pay system). Payment is due the first of each month and considered late after the 10th day of the month. A $25.00 late fee is added after the 10th day of the month.

Monthly Tuition rates for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

5-days per week (Monday - Friday) = $625.00 per month

3-days per week (Wed., Thurs., Fri.) = $425.00 per month

2-days per week (Monday - Tuesday) = $325.00 per month

Non-refundable Registration Fee - $60.00 (paid in August, upon confirmation of preschool slot)

After all eligible 4 year old students are placed in a classroom, any unfilled slots can be offered to eligible 3 year old children.
